Talia Tourism Hosts Guangzhou Overseas Chinese Federation Delegation
Recently, Talia Tourism hosted a delegation from the Guangzhou Federation of Returned Overseas Chinese for a multi-day programme of cultural promotion and exchange in Riyadh. The visit was coordinated throughout by Ms Zhou Dongni, General Manager of Talia Tourism and Executive President of the China-Saudi Culture and Art Association. The programme was rich in content and the exchanges were in depth, effectively advancing cooperation between China and Saudi Arabia across culture, education, sport, business, trade and other fields.
During their stay in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, the delegation of the Guangzhou Federation of Returned Overseas Chinese, whose programme was arranged with the support of Talia Tourism, carried out a series of intensive and in-depth visits and exchanges. The delegation called at a number of important Chinese community organisations and institutions in Saudi Arabia, including the Chinese Community Federation of Saudi Arabia, the Guangdong Chamber of Commerce in Saudi Arabia and the Chinese Business Association of Saudi Arabia.
During the visit, the delegation unveiled the plaque of the “Riyadh · Guangzhou Tea House” in Saudi Arabia at the Guangdong Chamber of Commerce in Saudi Arabia. The platform is dedicated to building a regular exchange mechanism between Guangzhou and Riyadh, providing a stable vehicle for cooperation between the two cities in culture, business, trade and other fields, and injecting fresh momentum.
In addition, the delegation visited local families to experience Arabic coffee, calligraphy and cuisine; went to the Zhihui Palace Chinese School and the China-Saudi Culture and Art Association to discuss Chinese-language education and cultural dissemination; and visited local enterprises to exchange views on topics such as companies expanding overseas, supporting economic and trade cooperation between China and Saudi Arabia and building service platforms for overseas Chinese.
After the visit, the Guangzhou Federation of Returned Overseas Chinese sent a special letter expressing its sincere thanks for the arrangements made for this itinerary and for the support provided.
