Talia Tourism Hosts China Fire Rescue Team for the World Firefighting ‘Olympics’
On 28 October local time, the much-anticipated 20th World Fire and Rescue Championship opened in Riyadh, the capital of Saudi Arabia. Initiated and organised by the International Sport Federation of Firefighters and Rescuers, the event is widely known as the “Firefighting Olympics” and attracted top fire and rescue teams from many countries around the world to compete on the same stage.

The China Fire and Rescue Team set out on its fifth campaign, and the on-site hospitality for the Chinese delegation in Saudi Arabia was fully handled by Talia Tourism, whose professional, meticulous and efficient service won high praise from all parties.

This World Fire and Rescue Championship lasted four days and featured four highly challenging events: the hooked-ladder climb to the fourth floor, the 100-metre firefighting obstacle race, the 4×100-metre fire relay, and the portable pump water-target event.
The Chinese team competed fiercely against teams from 13 countries including Russia, Belarus, Germany, Uzbekistan and Kazakhstan (other reports indicated 22 participating countries in total, reflecting the strong line-up of teams at the event).
To ensure the China Fire and Rescue Team could devote itself fully to the competition, Talia Tourism provided comprehensive hospitality services on several fronts. For transport, we carefully planned travel routes according to the event schedule and the delegation’s needs, providing experienced drivers and comfortable vehicles to guarantee safe and convenient journeys between the venues and the accommodation.
